Customer's Question
I'm trying to use File Recovery for Mac search for deleted files on an external drive.
It seems to get to about 10% completed and then hangs.
Activity Monitor shows that it is using 98% of the CPU resources but it will not
respond and I have to Force Quit. I have tried it several times with the same result.
Please advise
Answer:
On any hang or crash or other issue, I will need the console output and
any crash logs generated. I also need the specific information about
what kind of data they were trying to recover and how it was lost.
What scan selection did they pick for the recovery?
