Will Photo Recovery have the problem to recover from an external hard drive connected with USB?

Customer Question: # 1

I bought PhotoRecovery for Mac. I am trying to recover my iPhoto library that was on an external hard drive. The program worked when I tried it up to about 3/4 of the way. Then I got a fault and the program crashed. I bought the program thinking it was a problem with the activation. But it still does the same thing.

I read about the recover and I consider my external usb hard drive to be a digital media device. But maybe it's not? Can I purchase File Recovery with the $50 I already spent on Photo Recovery going toward it? So it only costs me an additional $50 instead of over all spending $150?

If not that, I would like to get the 20% off the second program. Of course my preference would be to get the $50 credit toward File Recovery, but I understand if that isn't possible.

Please let me know as soon as possible. I would like to get this fixed today if I could.

Thank you!
