How to recover lost jpeg (photos) vanished from iphoto?

Hi there, I have downloaded your program to recover lost jpeg (photos).. 6months worth of photos
just vanished from iphoto(although my daughter did delete the trash but photos from iphoto weren't in there)
The program is searching for all lost files..but Im only after the photo filesso far its up to
jpg 83698 ..the wheel is spinning but the blue line is just over half way its been running for 5days ..
I have to keep moving the mouse to wake it up so the wheel keeps spinning
Please help ..its taking too long..
