The program says it has recovered 319 files however none of the images show when the fileis highlighted.

Customer Question: # 1

I am currently experiencing some problems with your software I purchased on the 26/8/09 order ID xxxxxxx-xxx-xxxxx.

I have followed the instructions and on scanning the program says it has recovered 319 files however none of the images show when the file is highlighted. Also all files recovered have the same name (IMG001.jpg) although dimensions may vary.

On completion of the scan I checked the folder requested for the data to be saved to and nothing was there. A backup produced a file which iphoto won't open.

Many thanks for your help,

Support Answer: # 2

The product is still in demo mode and has not been activated. The customer needs to activate the product and then it will run in full mode and automatically save the images it finds.

Thank you

Thanks for that info, however I did activate the account with the code I was given and the 'buy now' logo in the top right changed to the AppleXsoft logo. Is there a way I can re-activate the program of shall I reinstall and re-use the activation code I was given.

Many thanks,

Support Response: # 4

If you reinstall on that system, you can use the same activation code. You should get a message at the end that says you have successfully activated the product. The buy logo turns to the AppleXsoft logo and then you are in full version mode.

Now be careful not to change the program options to try and write back to your card, the program needs to save the data to the hard drive in order to recover the files. So do not change any options in the program the first time you run it.

Thanks
