How to process with the timed-out problem when trying to retrieve the deleted folders and files?

I have run your software to recover files on an external
Lacie drive, I am
running MAC os x 10.5.8 on an intel macbook pro.
The problem seems to be during trying to retrieve the
folders and files your
software lists as recoverable on the external drive, I have
attempted on several occasions now, and every time your software has
timed-out, stopped responding, and I have to start all over again,
which is most frustrating.

Can you please give me more information on how the files were lost? What is the file system format on
the external drive? How large is the Lacie drive?
Can you please also send me a console report from the crash?
